Our Team

Dr. Brock graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University's School of Dentistry in 1980 and began his family practice at its current location on Belmont Street. He has taken extensive post-graduate training in cosmetic dentistry and especially enjoys providing his patients with more beautiful smiles. He is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute (LVI) where he completed both the Advanced Posterior Aesthetics and Master Aesthetic Dentistry programs.

Born in Indiana in 1945, Dr. Brock moved to Oregon with his parents in 1959. He attended Elmira High School and graduated from the University of Oregon in 1969. He was an Army helicopter pilot from 1969 to 1975. Dr. Brock married his wife Joan in 1969. They have three sons. Dr. Brock's interests and hobbies include photography, hiking, skiing and tennis.

Joan Brock, Dr. Brock's wife, has been working in our practice since 1980. A former school teacher, she graduated from the University of Oregon in 1968 (Go Ducks!). Her interests include physical fitness and traveling. She is highly involved with her family as well as various women's groups.

Bobbie has been with our team since 1997. She has worked in the dental field for more than twenty years, coordinating patient care. A native of Portland, she enjoys golfing, skiing and spending time with her husband and children.

Lisa has been on our team since 1997. She is a Certified Dental Assistant and is a member of the American Dental Assistant Association. She attended Portland State University and Mount Hood Community College, graduating from Dental Assisting school in 1994. Her interests include traveling, shopping (who knew!) and spending time with family and friends.

Vickie has been with our team since 1991. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist and graduated from Mount Hood Community College in 1989. She was President of the Oregon Dental Hygienist's Association for the 1999-2000 term. Her interests include volunteer work in dentistry, camping, traveling and reading.

Sherry has been with our team since 1998. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist and a graduate of Mount Hood Community College. She is an active member of both the Oregon and American Dental Hygiene Associations. Her interests include hiking, bicycle riding, and traveling. She is now pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene Degree.
